Someone has cut our plants. We dont know who has taken them we are very upset. But this doesn't affect our result. We put down as much as i can.

OUR PLANT DIED.

we redo it.
ahaha.

Thursday, June 4, 2009

Today we meet up. We put the fertilizers inside 3 containers. All together there are 4 containers.
Container A,B,C & D. We mix the fertilizers with a litre of water.
We weight the fertilizer to 1gram and mix it with water.

Container A: Potassium Chloride (fertilizer) + 200 ml of water and a plant.

Container B: Sodium phosphate (fertilizer) + 200 ml of water and a plant.

Container C: Ammonium Nitrate (fertilizer)+ 200ml of water and a plant.

Container D: controlled, without fertilizer, 200 ml of water & a plant

we will like to thank ms irene for helping us.

Problem Question:
What is the effect of fertilizers in plant growth.

Hypothesis:
There's 3 types of fertilizers given by Mrs Soong. One of the fertilizer helps the growth of a plant which means the plant grows very well. One of the fertilizers will also kill the plant and damage the growth of the plant. And the last one probably helps a little bit and damage the plant.

Apparatus and Materials Needed:
- 3 diffrent types of fertilizers
- 3 containers (same type, to grow on it)
- a weighting scale

Controlled variebles:
-The same types of plant (number of leaves, conditions)
- Fertilizers of the same weight (1gram)
same amount of nutrtious solution.
-Same amount of water (1litre)

This is currently our science project blog.
the Problem Question we are doing are 'What is the effect of fertilizers of chemicals on plant growth?'
